Oops… it’s been awhile, huh? I guess we might as well update you on everything from this season.
Our first season at Panini’s has gone fairly well. It’s not perfect yet but we are working on it and are very happy with the decision to move there. It has honestly been a lot of work but the vibe and atmosphere during games has been AMAZING! We are happy to call Panini’s our downtown home. If you haven’t checked it out, please join us for one game. The food is great and everyone has a good time.
The Member Appreciation Tailgate Party was a great time. As well as our Annual Bus Trip. Tickets went fairly fast this year but wasn’t an instant sell out. We hope everyone had a great time at both events and we look forward to repeating both next year.
This year, we have started a few new things too. One being a good drive. We started this back in November, as another way to give back to the community. Everything we collect goes to Kent Family Services. You get an extra door prize ticket each week for every donation you give.
Speaking of giving back, This club is more than just football. That is more than just a tagline. It is 100% true. Since 2001, we have donated over 50,000 to charities and local causes. Towards the end of every calendar year, the KBB Board of Directors discusses and decides where the money will go to. This year, we are happy to announce the following donations:

We have a few events coming up that we are very excited about. The first one up is our annual election and board meeting. It will be at Kent American Legion Post 496 on January 7th at Noon. This is open to ALL ACTIVE members of the club, regardless of viewing location you usually attend.
During this meeting, we will review what we did in 2023 and the state of the club for 2024. After that. We will have an election for our At-Large board positions, which go up for re-election every year.

(This is the same day as the Browns last game vs the Bengals. As of right now, game time is TBA. This meeting will start at Noon, even if it is a 1pm game)
After that, is our Chili Cook Off and Super Bowl Party at the American Legion on February 11th. Do you have the best chili around? Do you think it can hold its own vs everyone else? Put your chili where your mouth is and enter our Chili Cook Off. It is FREE to enter and you don’t have to sign up. Just show up with chili to enter.
Chili need to be entered by 6pm, with judging to take place at 6:30pm.
After that, chili will be open to everyone to eat.
Lastly, we have another new thing coming up and it is our Reverse Raffle. This will be the first time we are doing it and hope that it is a great success. It will be on Saturday, February 24th from 5pm-11pm at the American Legion. Along with the reverse raffle, there will be side boards, a silent auction, and bingo. The grand prize will be $2,000. Tickets are $75 each, which includes the raffle, dinner, and an open bar. See a board member for tickets and/or more info.
