ABOUT US
Worldwide Browns Backers - Chapter 80
With about 220 members, the Kent Browns Backers are proud to be Chapter 80 of Browns Backers Worldwide, the official fan club of the Cleveland Browns. We are a 501(c)(7) charitable organization led by a Board of Directors, and our members gather for Browns games at American Legion Post 496.
Throughout the year, the club also hosts a variety of social events, fundraisers and special activities. Past favorites have included golf outings, clambakes, corn roasts, Christmas parties and raffles.
Giving back has always been an important part of who we are. Since 2001, the Kent Browns Backers have contributed more than $60,000 to organizations and causes throughout Kent and the surrounding community, including:
- Cleveland Browns Foundation
- Big Brothers & Sisters of Portage County
- Boys State Summer Leadership and Citizenship Program
- Portage County Foster Care
